European Privacy Seal

IDwise has an accreditation as both legal and technical expert for EuroPriSe, the European Privacy Seal.

The European Privacy Seal certifies that an IT product or IT-based service facilitates the use of that product or service in a way compliant with European regulations on privacy and data protection, taking into account the legislation in the relevant EU Member States. Unique to the EuroPriSe scheme is that data protection authorities act as certification bodies.

EuroPriSe offers:

  • a privacy trust mark of excellence valid throughout Europe
  • a transparent, non-bureaucratic procedure and reliable criteria
  • supervision and assurance by an independent third party
  • visibility of privacy compliance available for marketing

If desired, EuroPrise seals can be presented in a high-profile award ceremony, for instance at a conference.

Our Services

IDwise provides consultancy services to prepare organizations wishing to submit a product or service for a EuroPriSe seal. Alternatively, it can carry out both the legal and technical evaluation required to obtain the seal.
